1. INTRODUCCIÓN
La expresión en español ¿De qué sirve...? ¿Qué sentido tiene...? ¿De qué vale...?, etc... se traduce al inglés como "What's the point of...?".
- What's the point of getting angry about it? (¿De qué sirve cabrearse por eso?).
- What's the point of having a lot of things if you don't have any time for enjoy them? (¿Qué sentido tiene tener tantas cosas si no tienes tiempo para disfrutarlas?).
- What's the point of doing this? (¿De qué sirve hacer esto?).
*NOTA: Recordad que después de una preposición el verbo siempre va en gerundio (con ing). Si necesitas repasar esta regla gramatical visita "Gramática inglesa: verbos sucedidos por infinitivos o gerundios".
